Injection mould
engineering

Turnkey tooling, concept to cavity. We design, cut and validate production moulds in-house — VMC, EDM and precision fitting, engineered for high-volume runs at micron-level accuracy.

A mould is the
single biggest variable in part quality.

Get the tool right and every shot that follows is repeatable, on-spec and cheap to run. Get it wrong and no amount of process tuning recovers it. That's why we treat mould engineering as the heart of what we do, not an afterthought to moulding.

Annika builds production moulds end to end under one roof: design-for-manufacturability, full 3D mould design, cavity and core machining on VMC and EDM, hand fitting, polishing and texturing, then trials and dimensional sign-off — all before the tool ever reaches your line. Because tooling, moulding and inspection sit in the same building, we control the variables that usually get lost between vendors.

Anatomy of a mould

Hover the build

A cross-section of a two-plate mould. Hover or tap any component to see what it does and how we engineer it.

Component

Explore the mould

Hover or tap any labelled component — or a chip above — to see how that part is engineered and why it matters to your tool.

How a tool gets built

From brief to
validated mould

Six disciplined stages, each signed off before the next begins.

01

DFM review

Design-for-manufacturability and mould-flow analysis on your part.

02

Mould design

3D mould design — cavity layout, cooling, feed and ejection.

03

Tooling

VMC, CNC milling, sinker & wire EDM, grinding.

04

Fit & polish

Bench fitting, surface finishing and texturing.

05

Trials T0–T1

Sampling on 120–650 T machines, dimensional sign-off.

06

Production

Validated tool released to production, with ongoing support.

What we build

Mould types

CAT / MOULDS

Two-plate moulds

The workhorse configuration for single-parting-line parts at volume.

Three-plate moulds

Centre or multi-point gating with automatic runner separation.

Hot-runner systems

Runnerless moulding for scrap-free, balanced, faster cycles.

Multi-cavity & family

Multiple identical or related parts per shot for higher output.

Insert & overmould

Metal inserts and two-material parts moulded in a single tool.

Unscrewing & side-action

Threaded and undercut geometry via lifters, slides and cores.
